Help

I am looking for a company that furnishes professional looking business cards that print on recycled stock and uses soy-based ink.  For that matter I am looking for a company that provides all of my small office needs with environmental sensitivity.  If anyone has an idea, please shoot them over to me.  Thanks!

Hey Jason!

A friend informed me of this site and your search for eco-conscious printing/business services. Here's a few links which should prove to be helpful with your search.

I am not sure where to get business cards but I really enjoy reading your blog; it always has great dialogue. I was wondering if your readers have heard anything about online carbon calculators. I am not an environmental nerd but I came across a couple, and with everyone going green these days I thought I would check out my footprint. I took my test at WWF.com, and the EPA site along with www.earthlab.com. Does anyone know about any other ones? Let me know, and it would be cool to hear any thoughts on these things. Oh and I think Earthlab.com is the best site it has the easiest calculator to use and they are doing stuff with the super bowl, spinning football and global warming together is pretty impressive.

Thanks for the info! I appreciate your feedback.

As far as carbon footprint calculators go, maybe check out carbonfund.org, or ecovoom.com. Terrapass is another one that may be helpful.

I ended up finding some do-it-yourself business cards that are recycled at Staples. I don't know what percentage of recycled content it is, but I only purchased an envelope of 200 and ran them off on my ink jet printer at home. They turned out fantastic!
